Amazonite Sphere Stands - Handmade
I made these Amazonite sphere stands as prototypes, and they came out great! I’m picky about my sphere stands and it’s hard for me to find ones that I like. In my opinion you either shouldn’t notice them or they should look like they’re meant to be with the sphere.
Each of these is made from a slab of Amazonite that I polished and shaped. I then drilled a hole in each and placed a brass alloy holder within. The result is a stand that looks great on its own and enhances the sphere its holding.
Why I consider these prototypes is because I wasn’t sure if my idea for these would translate into a stand that’s actually stable. I tested these with a range of sphere sizes and shook them in a variety of ways, and these are way more stable than I even thought. The slabs are wider than your typical stand, and the underside is left rough to help with grip on a surface. This helps prevent the stand from vibrating too much when it’s bumped into.
As these are prototypes, I’m selling them for less than what I would normally. I’ll be making a lot more with different stones, so grab these at a deal price while you can.
