Aquamarine Skull Talisman - Carved In-House

This skull was carved from a piece of Aquamarine. I shaped it so that the bandings of Feldspar and Black Tourmaline would define the teeth and jaw. This piece comes alive with a backlight and has such a powerfully assertive yet calming presence. I love how the stone filters light into different shades of watery colors depending on the angle, check out the pics for this.

Our own skull is made from the bones of Earth and ancient stardust. Working with a skull made from stone is a powerful connection to our innate protection and magick.

While my Skull Talismans can be carried or displayed, they are made from specific stones that I identify as having strong magickal resonance and put aside specifically to carve into a magickal talismans.

About Aquamarine:

Aquamarine is a member of the beryl family, which includes Emeralds and Morganite. Defined by brilliant, frequently translucent, blues it’s a stone that helps one understand inner and outer guidance, particularly from spirit. I find it helps deepen awareness and meditation and does so with a light-hearted feel. It’s a great stone for pretty much everyone to work with.
