Unlike ‘regular’ Shungite which is about 30-60% carbon, Elite (aka Noble) Shungite is about 90-98% carbon. This gives it a shiny, black chrome look and makes it deceptively light. If you’re going to use Shungite to filter your water, this is the Shungite to use. Though it’s so pretty and so rare that using it for anything other than magical purposes is sacrilege (just kidding, you do you. If you dunk it in water as a filter, though, you’re not invited over any more.)
