Hyalite Opal Skull Talisman - Carved In-House

This skull was carved from a highly UV reactive piece of Hyalite Opal. I mainly carved the rock matrix the opal is in and left the natural opal formation intact for the skullcap. This piece comes alive in UV light.

Our own skull is made from the bones of Earth and ancient stardust. Working with a skull made from stone is a powerful connection to our innate protection and magick.

While my Skull Talismans can be carried or displayed, they are made from specific stones that I identify as having strong magickal resonance and put aside specifically to carve into a magickal talismans.

About Hyalite Opal:

Hyalite Opal feels and looks like it’s a stowaway from another planet. Under UV light it transforms from a glass-like appearance to an incredibly bright fluorescent green.

Hyalite is also referred to as Water Opal due to its high water content (about 5-8%).

It is, of course, an excellent stone for water energy but it’s also one that helps gather the courage to live your inner life on the outside. 

Hyalite Opal magnifies instinctive knowing and synchronicities. It has a well balanced Solar and Lunar energy that aids in purification and clairvoyance. A great stone to keep near the bed for prophetic dreams.
