Jaspilite is a form of banded hematite (iron). While technically abundant geologically, it’s very rare to find aesthetically pleasing deposits that contain desirable red jasper banding. In fact, the couple of spheres I recently got were the first I had seen available anywhere in two years.

This stone almost looks manmade with the perfectly shiny hematite combined with deep swirls of red jasper.

This is an incredibly grounding stone that makes a powerful addition to hold space for any ritual. I find it’s a stone that pushes you to get your “sh*t” together.
