Larvikite is also known as Blue Pearl Granite and confused with Black Moonstone and Black Labradorite. While it is a feldspar like those two, it is it’s own stone with it’s own identity. Found mainly in Norway and named after the Norwegian town, Larvik, it’s a gorgeous flashy black stone.
Larvikite is one of my favorite magical stones because, while it helps with many things, it does one thing REALLY well: cloaking energy.
Used with intention, it helps add an “invisibility” element to your energy, which can be really useful when you just don’t want to be noticed much, or if you’re venturing through treacherous terrain, either physically or shamanicly.
It also helps with contacting the fae, if you wish to attempt that.
These tumbles are excellent, I haven’t found one without a good amount of flash to it.
