Phantom Quartz with Powellite

Holy crap, these are cool. They look like normal clear quartz pieces with phantom growth within them. But flick on a UV light and the entire piece shines like a beacon, with the phantoms clearly visible in intense yellow glow.

A phantom is when the crystal growth was interrupted, allowing minerals to settle on it, then the growth restarts and the minerals keep the shape of the former point intact while the new point grows over it.

These points serve as a good reminder that obstacles along the way often cause us to grow stronger and brighter. There’s a mental clarity that comes from working with them and they would be great companions on an altar for spirit work.
