Wow, this is a shiny stone.

Diamonds fall squarely in the camp of precious gems unlike the minerals and semiprecious gems we usually go for, but I was lucky enough to scoop up these pieces. We don’t think of the energy of Diamonds often, likely because they’re usually not sold in metaphysical shops, but these are powerful stones.

Diamonds are the world’s hardest mineral by a mile. Which is funny given it shares something in common with one of the softest minerals, Graphite, in that both are 99.95% pure carbon. The difference is that Graphite forms in layers and Diamonds form in a 3D tetrahedral crystal lattice that with atoms that are tightly bonded to each other.

Diamonds are the only gem made of a single element and are subjected to intense high-pressure and temperature deep in the Earth. This makes them excellent for purity practices and when you need a stone that’s a crystal clear channel to the divine. As a stone of unconditional love, it’s rumored to be great on wedding rings ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
