Most of the red coral you see out for sale is dyed, this piece is all natural baby! Some traditions consider coral to be a central earth-based entity as it provides shelter for vital ecosystems. Red Coral specifically is used as a protective talisman.

Clarity of perception is a huge part of coral’s teachings. We perceive coral as a plant, yet it’s an animal. To that point it’s not a single animal, but a colony of animals that provides nourishment and habitat for other colonies of animals.
