The earthy grounding of Serpentine works really well as a sphere stand.
I made this from a rough slab I had lying around. I gave it a tall right angle and left the slope rough with some flattened spots. After polishing I drilled a hole and inserted a brass alloy holder. I love the effect the height of this stand has on different spheres. I’ll definitely make more like it. I kinda want to keep this one, so grab it before I change my mind.
This is a very sturdy stand. I put it through a shake test with a variety of spheres and it held strong each time.
