Miriam Jasper / Calligraphy Stone

I made this to be a companion for anyone seeking deeper connection with their inner source of self. It feels great in the hand.

The formation of Miriam Jasper is intense. It’s a stone directly formed out of shells, vegetation, and bones fossilized and then condensed by the pressure of the shifting of the Himalayas over ancient swamp land. This is something that hasn’t occurred anywhere else in the world.

The result is an amazing array of patterns that have earned it the names Miriam Jasper, Elephant Skin Jasper, Cobra Jasper and - my favorite - Calligraphy Stone. 

Speaking of, I love the feel of this stone for writers or anyone involved with the written word. If you want to tap into the roots of the beginnings of the Earth, this is a stone that will take you there. I also find this to be a great stone for playing with time, I might see how this works in readings for timing based questions.
