I love Seraphinite. It’s one of those stones I immediately felt and related to when I held it. Part of this is it’s a form of Clinochlore which is a type of Chlorite, and Chlorite in stones always feels really powerful to me, particularly for spirit work, where I heavily employ Chlorite-based stones.

The mesmerizing feathery shimmer seen amongst the dark green, is from mica, and when it plays with the chatoyancy of the green Clinochlore fibers, you can see why it’s named after the highest order of angels.

Seraphinite feels heavily restorative and regenerative -  energetically, mentally, and physically - and is one of my preferred stones for protection and recovery from psychic or energetic attack (it pairs really well with Bronzite for this). It also is fantastic at releasing earthbound spirits, removing attachments, and disharmonious energies, making it a great addition to a cleanser’s toolkit.

I like keeping a tumble of Seraphinite in my pocket when I’m going to do something that might be energetically strenuous, or when I’m checking out a property for spirit presence (also known as hauntings, but I don’t like using that word as a catch all). It seems to help with a higher perspective, which leads me to believe it might be helpful for people trying to break bad mental habits like obsession or rumination.

It’s a soft stone, but it’s dense which makes it ok for jewelry and nice for carving. I’m looking for some to carve which brings me to… The thing about Seraphinite that kinda sucks: it is rare. It’s only found in a certain area of Eastern Siberia near Lake Baikal. While Clinochlore has been found in other places, the Siberian deposits are the only known gem-quality ones.

These tumbles are mighty and full of character. Grab 1 and get 2 of these rare stones free!
